When we evaluate our clients, there is one muscle group that is weak on virtually everyone. Everyone from gymnasts to weekend warriors all seem to have this same problem. What is it? Read on.... jeans

tennisThe hip extensor muscles, glutes, more simply your butt muscles are what are weak and holding you back.  When these muscles are either deactivated or weak, other muscles will take over and this often results in low back pain, tight hamstrings and many other compensations. We are able to correct these types of problems with specific exercises that target the butt muscles. Strengthening these muscles allows our clients to be able to perform better at their particular sport, whether it is golf, tennis, or gymnastics. If you are experiencing low back pain, poor performance in your sport of choice or just want to look better in your jeans, contact Leciana at 949-631-4656.

Lunges (forward and step back) and squats are my go to ones provided they are performed correctly. You must feel these in your glutes, if you feel quads, you need a trainer to work with you to do them properly. Improper performance of these exercises can lead to injuries especially kneee injuries so ask if you need help.
