Massage Therapy
Our massage therapy department is designed to compliment our chiropractic, spinal decompression, clinical nutrition
and acupuncture departments. Patients often have a soft tissue component to their condition and our highly skilled therapy team utilizes a variety of techniques to treat the problem.
An increasing number of research studies show massage reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases blood circulation and lymph flow, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion, and increases endorphins. Although therapeutic massage does not increase muscle strength, it can stimulate weak, inactive muscles and, thus partially compensate for the reduced exercise and activity that occurs with illness or injury.
